Our Sales Managers are the front-line leaders of Chope’s market growth. They report directly to our General Manager of Hong Kong, and have a pivotal role in leading, grooming, and shaping the Hong Kong Sales team. In addition to their leadership role, they will also need to generate leads, follow up, and close sales opportunities. As part of nurturing strong account relations, they will be a key contact for their clients, and also undertake contractual and marketing related account management. Like the team they lead, they will be expected to meet monthly sales targets, and work closely with our marketing and operations teams to help our clients get the most out of the Chope platform.
Ideal candidates should have at least 2-3 years experience in managing and motivating a B2B e-commerce and/or SaaS sales team. Candidates should a keen understanding of performance metrics for sales people, and preferably be able to lead from the front, juggling both their own performance as well as that of their team.
Build lasting relationships with restaurants end-to-end in the sales cycle - generate leads & approach restaurants, consult with key decision-makers and provide optimal business solutions, facilitate implementation on Chope's proprietary B2B system, upsell additional paid-services, and manage after-sales support
Recruit, develop, and retain a high-performing sales team
Work closely with respective function heads to optimise workflow and improve Chope’s product & services
Skills, Experience & Traits
2-3 years’ experience managing B2B sales or SaaS team in HK
Native fluency in Cantonese and a professional command of English
Possesses a natural ability to network through building lasting business relationships and understands the techniques of a consultative sell
Resilient, methodical, strategic, and result driven with a proven track record of exceeding set sales targets
While not required, the following skills/experience will be favourably considered
Experience in the sale of restaurant reservations/table management systems such as ResPak etc., or in other food and beverage related SaaS products.
