Program Manager at Zimplistic

In this role, you'll be part of the Zimplistic team in Singapore and will be responsible to manage hardware and software programs for the organization. The role will involve managing project execution spanning with functional teams. Delivering the Project/Product to customer in achievable short time-frame, meeting the program goals, ensuring quality and meeting the budget is the key to success in this role. We are looking for a motivated Program Manager who can contribute to the development of our next generation products.
Role & Responsibilities
Lead a cross-functional team in delivering a new product program to meet company’s strategic quality, cost and goals.
Manage complex projects/programs involving cross functional teams such as Hardware, Firmware, Test, Mechanical, QA, and Manufacturing etc. Track multiple project tasks to proactively anticipate problems, while always maintaining a solution orientation and a well-balanced perspective around risks and escalations
Maintain an up to date project plan that can be referenced at any time. Manage program budget.
Develop complete and well thought out execution plans that incorporate sound contingency planning and risk assessments. Lead meetings to resolve conflicts, facilitate decision making, and drive timely execution.
Collaboratively interface with external teams to obtain mutual wins.
Work with management to develop plans with considerable inter-dependencies, including contingency plans for dealing with potential or anticipated obstacles and changes.
Keep goals and schedules highly visible in the organization to ensure that individuals and teams are driven to high levels of productivity. Offer support in areas outside of one's own expertise at times to help a project succeed.
Drive program checkpoints at respective program milestone
Degree in Engineering (Electronics/CS/Mechanical/Mechatronics)
Overall 10+ Years of Experience with product development background including 5-8 yrs of proven track record in program management
Previous design contributor experience in one or more of the technical areas related to CE or electro-mechanical systems development.
Experience as a Project Manager in full product development lifecycle projects from design inception to mass production.
Fully capable with Project Management tools and techniques for both timeline and resource management.
Understanding of electronics manufacturing (PCB, SMT) and mechanical manufacturing (plastics, metals) processes, critical vendor inputs/outputs, and New Product Introduction (NPI) processes.
Understanding of software development processes and integration into hardware design.
Experience working with vendor partners in various levels technical and business relationship engagement.
Highly motivated team player with excellent communication skills, initiative, superior problem solving skills, the ability to prioritize tasks and willingness to learn and adapt.
Soft skills necessary to successfully leverage resources in a matrix organization.
Deadline oriented with an ability to manage multiple tasks and projects.
PMP/Scrum master certification will be a plus.
