The Vice President, Commercial Operations will be responsible for the overall productivity and effectiveness of the commercial organization. You will help foster close working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the commercial organization’s efficient operation and success. This position will work collaboratively and cross-functionally with key stakeholders: Sales Leadership, Products, Data Science, and Customer Success. The ideal candidate will have an extensive project management expertise with proven experience as a systems/business architect with strong views on how a well-developed operations portfolio can drive customer success. This role will focus around implementation, ongoing management and strategic growth of Biofourmis products and services.
Providing day-to-day management oversight of implementation and execution of projects globally
Continuously analyzing systems and processes; developing and implementing best practices and appropriate changes to improve outcomes in timely manner
Monitoring workflows to improve efficiencies and productivity
Managing and/or coordinating all aspects of the revenue cycle including: clients implemented on time (time to revenue), realization of contract value, optimized workflows to ensure inventory is worked correctly and timely, management of issues that could potentially delay realization of revenue (client approvals), monthly billing for each and every client
Reviewing and analyzing key financial reports, identifying key indicator trends and developing plans to ensure best practices are implemented to appropriately maximize overall program profitability and/or address variances
Tracking and reporting of all ancillary revenues generated by the programs. Responsible for cost management through appropriate utilization and management of resources.
Establishing performance expectations, providing regular feedback and consistently managing these expectations. Completing performance appraisals, promoting staff development activities, utilizing performance improvement procedures as necessary, and adhering to the company policies and procedures.
Collaborating with internal teams to develop, implement and manage a continuous Performance Improvement Program (PIP).
Maintaining excellent relationship with clients to understand needs, confirm goal alignment and demonstrate value proposition.
Provide knowledge and leadership to the business, particularly Commercial, Finance and Marketing, to guide effective decision-making and continuous improvement
7+ years of experience in operations roles
Team management and recruiting experience
The ability to work with a diverse team and influence change across functional and business boundaries
A passion towards operational excellence, exceptional attention to detail, and a proven ability to deliver fast but reliable results and insights to C-level executives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
A proven track record of building and leading a world class commercial operations team
Tremendous drive, intelligence and capability
