VP – Performance Marketing at Openspace Ventures
NSI Ventures is a Venture Capital firm investing in early stage technology companies in Southeast Asia. Our typical investments are at Round A or B stage, where revenue traction is building and capital is required to drive rapid growth. Our existing portfolio covers B2C and B2B technology companies who are accessing local, regional and global markets.
This is a newly created role with NSI Ventures operations team, in this role you will be helping our portfolio companies with all aspects of Performance Marketing.
Advise portfolio companies on best practices for SEM, Paid Social, Affiliates, SEO, Display, MobileWork in partnership with portfolio company to create a strategic vision and roadmap for growth marketing plans and budgetsHelp portfolio companies develop a data-driven process to measure campaign performance against key business metrics/plansLeverage existing platform relationships with adverting platforms like Google or Facebook to get startups early access to new ad productsPotentially fill multi-day-a-week interim roles when portfolio companies have urgent needsAssess the skillset of a company’s marketing team and, if necessary, source, interview & hire people to permanently fill gaps in the team.Set up data and reporting pipeline with portfolio companies to more easily track performance against key KPIs
· Attend all Deal Review Committees and take part in the NSI investment process
· Provide feedback during the due diligence to understand the strengths and weaknesses of a potential investment and develop an action plan for the first 100 days post-investment
Requirements / Qualifications:
5+ years’ experience in a performance marketingBachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Statistics, quantitative or analytical field preferredStrong analytical mindset that thrives in a fast-paced environmentStrong understanding of digital channel landscape to ideally include knowledge of campaigns across paid and free Experience growing, scaling and optimizing channels in a high-growth environment in a data-driven wayExpertise in testing and optimizing new and emerging channels, as well as established channelsExperience in working with technology companies in e-commerce/SaaS/internet or similar preferred Experience in growing start-up to scale is highly preferred
